Most of our ceramic items are dishwasher and freezer safe. Each item is glazed after the painting is finished - on some items you will find small holes in the glass. This cannot be avoided, and it poses no danger to the durability of the product. In addition, small cracks may appear on the ceramic surface over time. This happens because clay is a "living" material that continues to work. Small cracks can therefore be expected when buying beautiful handmade ceramics - and we actually believe that this makes each piece unique. There are only a few precautions you need to take to get the most out of your ceramic products: Please do not expose our stoneware oven plates to more than 240°C and never put it directly from the freezer into the oven as thermal shock can make it crack.
