Mars is the ultimate frontier of humanity at the beginning of a magnificent saga about the exploration of the red planet in the universe created by the award-winning board game Terraforming Mars.
Mars, year 2316. The newly formed Terraforming Committee oversees the dramatic development of powerful rival groups of Mars. When a stray asteroid crashes into a research station and kills a technician, the fragile balance between the groups is destroyed.
The World Government's investigation into the accident points to various motives and uncovers a gloomy conspiracy. Two Mars colonists with vastly different objectives must defy both destruction and treason to reveal the truth and hold those responsible to account before Mars falls victim to Earth's corruption. The balance between progress and humanity is constantly upset, but Mars is ultimately the most dangerous opponent of them all.
